- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆This park has a large grass area with a pond that is obvious near the playground equipment. There is also a small trail through the treeline that reveals another open grassy area and a loop of the same pond. Through the treeline there is also a man-made hill that might be good for sledding in the winter if the slope is steep or long enough. Might be worth a try. There are lots of Killdeer, dragonflies, and fish in the pond. Nice spot to stretch the legs, let the kids expend energy or even explore a little.By Beckah Bartel, February 06, 2017
